
Roxana Carolina Cocina teaches Performance Art, Art History I, Art history II, and Art Appreciation.
Ms. Cocina is an alumnus of Florida International University, where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2000. She obtained a Master of Fine Arts degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2003.
Ms. Cocina also teaches art and drama at COPE Center North which is an alternative institution for pregnant and teen parents. Along with teaching for the public school system and at FIU, Ms. Cocina proudly serves her community and is currently a committee member of The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) serving on its Educational Advisory Board since 2007. In her spare time, Ms. Cocina enjoys traveling, gardening, and fencing.
