Carlos E. Gallostra | Adjunct Faculty, Art History

A native of Miami, Carlos E. Gallostra holds a BFA degree in Electronic Media and Animation from the New World School of the Arts College, a conservatory within the heart of Downtown Miami. Gallostra also holds an MS degree in the History of Art from the Pratt Institute of New York. His focus regards early 20th century illustration in concert with North American and Cuban relations. In addition, Gallostra holds an MFA degree in studio art with an interest in painting, drawing, and new form media also from the Pratt Institute.  Classically trained under the Bargue method at the Romero & Hidalgo Atelier Studio of Miami, Gallostra's work is currently concerned with clandestine ideas in art, including anamorphic and cryptic realism. His work has been exhibited at several New York and Miami galleries.
